Winter Sky hatched on a clear mid-winter evening. This is a rare time for a yoshi to hatch, since they usually hatch around the summer, before the cold times of winter.

His mother named him after the matching colour of the sky on that evening, after the sun had set and you could only see a little red on the horizon, and the blue sky was getting darker. She also made Winter Sky white boots because of the snow on the ground, and a normal red-white saddle.

This is a part from my upcoming story, and the picture is also related to it. I'm not very good at writing stories, and because I don't live in the UK or US my spelling isn't perfect either, so this might be something never released.

But, this picture turned out quite nicely, even it seemed to look quite dull with it only having few colours at first. Though, I'm not very good with winter backgrounds, so the background is kind of meh...

But, I had a little break from drawing again due to artists block... That seems to be quite common problem. xD
But now that I feel like drawing, it is great to draw yoshi fan art again. ^^

I hope you all like this, took me quite a while to get Winter Sky's expression right. Many failed sketches. xD
